Welcome to our website!
SALT is a non-profit, faith-based Christian organization, consisting of about two hundred families, based in northwest Charlotte. SALT draws most of its membership from northwest Mecklenburg and eastern Gaston counties. SALT continues to grow to support the community of new homeschool families. It offers a rich and wide variety of events and activities to its members, including, but not limited to:
- Monthly parent/Educator workshops
- Public website for homeschooling questions
- Four yearly parties
- Field trips throughout the school year
- Yearbook
- Annual Gallery showcase
- Key Club (one of only two in the country available to homeschoolers)
- Middle school and elementary school groups and activities
- Honor Society
- Graduation ceremony
- Yahoo e-mail loop
- Information on classes and activities being offered throughout the metropolitan area
